About The journal

WHAT IS THE LACE JOURNAL?

The Lace Journal is not a planner. It’s not a generic bridal workbook. It’s not a checklist.

It is a curated bridal fashion and styling journey — created inside the walls of Art & Lace.

Designed for brides who care about aesthetic, emotion, and experience, this limited-edition journal blends fashion guidance, interactive style exercises, mood boards, bridal wardrobe curation, boudoir inspiration, heirloom storytelling, and keepsake pages that will matter long after the wedding is over.

It is part styling guide.

Part creative workshop.

Part future heirloom.

200 carefully designed pages, including:

  • Your Lace Edit Experience overview

  • Bridal Identity Map (aesthetic quiz)

  • Wedding Vision Mapping

  • Gown Vision pages with interactive elements

  • Customization guidance and sketch pages

  • Full wedding wardrobe planning (engagement through honeymoon)

  • Accessories & beauty direction

  • Photo shot list and styling notes

  • The 6-month Lace Edit roadmap

  • Archive pages: signatures, measurements, reflections

  • Color & Fabric Theory — Understand undertones, contrast, and palette creation for confident styling choices

  • Venue Matching Guide — How to align your bridal aesthetic with your venue’s architecture, lighting, and atmosphere

  • Bridesmaid Style Guide — Color stories, silhouette direction, and cohesive wedding party styling

  • Resources & Vendor Directory — Curated list of trusted alterations, accessories, boudoir photographers, and stylists

WHY NOT JUST PINTEREST?

Pinterest is inspiration. The Lace Journal is intention

  • Pinterest gives you images with no context for your body, budget, or vision

  • The Lace Journal gives you a framework built around your specific aesthetic, body, and wedding

  • Pinterest boards get forgotten. The Lace Journal becomes a keepsake you’ll have long after the dress is sold

It’s not about more content. It’s about the right content — curated, personal, and yours to keep forever..

WHAT BRIDES ARE SAYING

“I never knew how much I didn’t know about my own style until I went through the journal. It helped me have conversations with my stylist that actually made sense.”

— Madison K., 2026 Bride

“I used to spend hours on Pinterest boards that all looked the same. The Lace Journal helped me understand WHY certain styles spoke to me — and why others I kept saving weren’t actually ‘me’ at all.”

— Courtney B., Real Bride

“I didn’t expect a journal to change how I saw myself. By the end, I knew exactly what I wanted — and had the words to ask for it.”

— Rachel M., Art & Lace Bride

“Worth every penny. I went into my first appointment feeling confident and prepared instead of overwhelmed.”

— Taylor J., 2026 Bride

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Is this a planner or a journal?

Neither — and both. The Lace Journal is a curated style and intention guide that helps you understand who you are as a bride — before you ever step into a boutique.

How is this different from a regular bridal planner?

Most planners focus on logistics — vendors, timelines, seating charts. The Lace Journal focuses entirely on you: your style identity, your body, your vision. It’s the only tool built specifically for the dress-shopping experience.

What if I already have my dress?

The journal is still deeply valuable. The accessories, veil, hair, and overall aesthetic chapters help you build a complete bridal look — not just find a dress. Many brides use it to align everything around the gown they’ve already chosen.

How much does it cost?

$200 — Single Edition, Individually Numbered. This is not a mass-market product. Each journal is produced in limited quantities and signed by the author.

When will it be available?

A LETTER FROM THE FOUNDER

When I opened Art & Lace, I realized something very quickly. Most brides don’t need more options. They need clarity.

They need someone to help them slow down.

To translate inspiration into intention. To turn “I like this” into “This feels like me.”

The Lace Journal was born from years of watching brides transform the moment they understood their style.

Not trends.

Not pressure.

Not Pinterest boards.

Style that felt personal. Intentional. Aligned.

I created this journal as a companion — not just for choosing a dress, but for becoming the woman who walks into her wedding day with certainty.

Inside these pages, you’ll find space to reflect, curate, and design your bridal season with depth. There are prompts that ask bigger questions. Pages meant to be shared with your bridal party. Styling frameworks I’ve used privately with clients. And keepsake sections that will matter long after the wedding is over.

This isn’t about perfection.

It’s about presence.

I hope years from now, when you open this journal, you remember exactly who you were in this season — and how beautifully you stepped into your next chapter.

With love,
Samantha Almeida
